On the night of January 2, 2008, members of Glendale Fire Department responded to assist Sonora Fire Department with a large commercial fire in downtown Sonora.  Due to bitter cold conditions and the instability of the structure, the decision was made to use Glendale’s aerial in defensive mode to extinguish the fire.
