Glendale Fire Department

In the early morning of January 29, 2008, members of Glendale Fire Department along with mutual aid from Central Hardin, Sonora and Elizabethtown FIrefighters battled a 4 alarm fire at the Depot Restaurant in downtown Glendale.  The fire was contained to the upper floor of the structure which was the owner’s residence.  He received burns trying to escape the blaze and was treated in the scene by Hardin County EMS before being transported by LifeNet Air Medical from Hardin Memorial Hospital to University of Louisville Hospital Burn Unit.
