             Glendale Fire Department always welcomes anyone interested joining the membership as a volunteer firefighter.  While the pay is not the best, the feeling you receive after a simple thank you from a neighbor after saving the house that they have worked their entire life for or the look on the face of the injured person you just removed from the crushed car they were driving is something indescribable.  Being a department member is simple and takes as little as 4 hours a month of your time to stay active.  The only real requirements are to be a minimum age of 18, have a valid driver’s license and a willingness to help your community.  We have regular training meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at the station beginning at 7:00pm.  If this still sounds like something for you, please click the link below to fill out a simple form and a department officer will contact you very soon.  We hope to see you at our next meeting!!!
